Handmade Beds Shop Matlock
As well as running the general joinery side of our Wirksworth joiners shop, we also produce some very well made furniture. At the moment we're busy making handmade beds in our furniture workshop in Wirksworth, near Matlock. We deliver our wooden beds nationwide throughout the UK although local customers within Matlock and surounding areas may like to call in to see us and order and collect in person.
We have two wooden handmade bed ranges at the moment to choose from although we do make bespoke beds specially designed to order to fit your needs, so there's something in our Matlock bed shop for everyone. We don't have a bed & furniture showroom although you're welcome to book an appointment to visit our joiners workshop to view beds and furniture where it's made. We make all our beds and furniture by hand in our furniture workshop. We make items that will last a lifetime .Our philosophy is, you should only need to purchase your furniture once !
Our simpler, plainer planked beds that we have on sale in our bed shop have a very strong construction, mortice and tenonned side rails and hidden fixings. A bed is a weight bearing peice of furniture so strength is of the upmost importance.
We have designed a very modern and luxurious range of handmade four poster beds that are very niche. Theyre specially made for those wanting to spend a little more and purchase a bespoke bed that will last a lifetime, they make ideal wedding presents !
We also produce a more traditional range of handmade beds that are designed for the majority of purses. They're exremely robust and very well made using high quality materials and fittings. Our high standard joinery and meticulous wood finishing is used throughout our bed ranges. Regardless of cost, your bed will be handmade to the highest of standards.
All our wooden bed frames are mortice and tennoned and come with quality, very strong fittings, having traditional slatted bases with adjustable centre supports for maximum strength, suitable for the heaviest of people.
