Chunky Oak Tread Staircase - Deep Square Stair Treads, contemporary bespoke oak staircase

contemporary Open Staircase & Solid Steel Spindles. This chunky solid oak staircase was custom made for a customer in the Peak District, Derbyshire. The square extra deep oak open stair treads are the same deep square shape all round including the underneath, we have not scrimped on the quality of this extremely solid set of stairs. All the stair parts were handmade in our Greenhill Joinery Workshop in the Derbyshire Dales in the Matlock area. The oak handrail was also custom made in our workshop further adding to the quality. The black metal steel stair spindles are solid steel handpainted in a mat black dark charcoal to soften the spindle. The steel spindles have a rawness about them with a few authentic blemishes further adding to the handmade quality of the mild steel stair spindles. This oak staircase components were made in our workshop, most of the time was spent in our joiners shop manufacturing this oak open tread chunky staircase leaving only a few days installation time as we were so well prepared to keep the installtion time and any distruption to our customer down to a minimum.
